The main focus of the collection is Irish culture and language. It includes a number of texts which study the language, it’s various dialects and grammar. The texts are in English and Irish, many in old Irish script. There is also a focus on the history of Ireland, it’s poetry and songs, and ancient Irish folklore. A number of volumes are also devoted to Scots Gaelic, Welsh and Breton. Topics in these books again range from ancient folklore, poetry and song to the study of these languages. A number of the volumes have been annotated by T. F. O’ Rahilly. Authors include: T.F. O’ Rahilly, James Hardiman, Rev.
